Progress and Challenges of Understanding Cardiorenal Syndrome Type 3

چکیده
The pathologies of the kidney and heart have instigated a large number researchers around world to try better understand what exact connectors responsible for emergence establishment these diseases are. classification into different types cardiorenal syndromes (CRSs) over last 15 years has greatly contributed understanding pathophysiological diagnostic aspects, as well treatment strategies. However, with advent new technologies classified “Omics”, range knowledge possibilities opened up in order effectively intermediaries between kidney-heart axis. universe micro-RNAs (miRNAs), epigenetic factors, components present extracellular vesicles (EVs) been protagonists studying CRSs. Thus, challenge that is imposed select link amount information generated from use large-scale analysis techniques. review seeks some future perspectives related CRSs, an emphasis on CRS type 3.

Cardiorenal syndrome type 3: pathophysiologic and epidemiologic considerations.
Cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) type 3 is a subclassification of the CRS whereby an episode of acute kidney injury (AKI) precipitates and contributes to the development of acute cardiac injury. There is limited understanding of the pathophysiologic mechanisms of how AKI contributes to acute cardiac injury and/or dysfunction. An episode of AKI may have effects that depend on the severity and duration...

Cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) type 4, or chronic renocardiac syndrome, has been defined as 'chronic abnormalities in renal function leading to cardiac disease' and recognizes the extreme burden of cardiovascular (CV) disease (CVD) risk in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). CKD is common and increasingly recognized as a risk factor for CVD. Although during the past 10 years CV morbidity an...

The cardiorenal syndrome type 4 (Chronic Renocardiac Syndrome) is characterized by a condition of primary chronic kidney disease (CKD) that leads to an impairment of the cardiac function, ventricular hypertrophy, diastolic dysfunction, and/or increased risk of adverse cardiovascular events. Clinically, it is very difficult to distinguish between CRS type 2 (Chronic Cardiorenal Syndrome) and CRS...
